Damien Myers

Damien Myers MD, MPH, was born in Detroit, raised in Southern California, and has called Baltimore home since 2008. “Doc” serves as the Director of Engagement for the Hit Squad Golf Club and is responsible for orchestrating a vibrant and inclusive club environment. His duties encompass website and external communications, facilitating member communications, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all. Damien’s passion for golf and commitment to community-building make him an integral part of the Hit Squad Golf Club’s success, bringing members together to share their love for the sport and camaraderie.

Professionally, Doc Myers is the founder and CEO of MedReimagined, a medical education company that focuses on cultivating the next generation of Black & brown healthcare professionals in America. He has received numerous awards and accolades for his efforts to increase diversity in medicine. Doc currently serves on the University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation Board of Trustees, the Sinai Hospital (Baltimore) Board of Directors, The Seed School of Maryland Board of Trustees, and the Board of Trustees for Uplift Alliance. Doc is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a graduate of Morehouse College (BS), the University of Alabama-Birmingham (MPH), and the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine (MD).

Sam Lennon

Sam Lennon, a native of Baltimore, MD, is the dedicated Director of Events at the Hit Squad Golf Club. In this role, he leads the curation of memorable experiences for members. With a passion for precision and creativity, Sam meticulously plans and executes an array of engaging outings during Hit Squad golf trips, local social gatherings, and special events throughout the year. His keen eye for detail ensures that every activity runs seamlessly. Under Sam’s coordination and oversight, the Hit Squad Golf Club continues to be a hub of excitement and camaraderie for golf enthusiasts.

Sam is the founder and CEO of L2 Defense Inc., a Defense industry technical services firm headquartered in Baltimore, MD. Sam has 30 years of diversified experience in engineering, management, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship. He currently serves on the University of Maryland Baltimore Board of Trustees, the Sinai Hospital (Baltimore) Board of Directors, The Seed School of Maryland Board of Trustees, and the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work Board of Advisors. Sam is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Sean Berry

Sean Berry, a native of Baltimore, MD, is the Director of Golf at the Hit Squad Golf Club, where he brings his expertise and unwavering passion for the sport to the forefront. In his role, Sean meticulously selects the finest golf courses that provide the perfect backdrop for club events and tournaments, ensuring members experience the best golfing venues. His exceptional organizational skills shine as he adeptly establishes tournament flights, guaranteeing fair and competitive play for all participants. Sean’s discerning taste extends to the selection of Hit Squad apparel, ensuring members proudly represent the club both on and off the course. With his leadership, the Hit Squad Golf Club continues to thrive as a premier destination for golf enthusiasts, fostering a community bound by their love for the game.

Professionally, Sean is a seasoned professional with a remarkable 25-year tenure as a Project Manager at Ample Sheet Metal, Inc. Ample Sheet Metal, Inc. is recognized for its comprehensive services, encompassing everything from ductwork and fan/exhaust systems to dust collection systems and custom welding fabrication. Sean’s leadership has played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless design, fabrication, and installation of these vital HVAC components. Under his guidance, Ample Sheet Metal, Inc. has earned its reputation as a trusted provider of HVAC solutions, licensed to operate in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
